Trey Johnson is one of the best available shooters in the entire country. The Provo, Utah native finished his sophomore season at Colorado Northwestern Community College where he was a constant standout, averaging 14 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3 assists per game while shooting 40 percent from the field and 40 percent from three-point range. Johnson is a quick 6'1 guard with a lightning-fast release that allows him to get his shot off from anywhere on the floor. He moves extremely well without the ball, using great timing and anticipation to create separation from defenders and get open coming off screens. His ability to relocate and consistently find open space makes him a constant threat from deep. With the ball in his hands, Johnson has also proven capable of creating his own offense. He can knock down difficult jump shots off the dribble while also attacking defenders downhill and finishing craftily around the rim. His use of head fakes, footwork, and change of pace helps him create angles and generate quality looks in the paint despite his size. Johnson is also a smooth and efficient playmaker, posting a 2.8 assist-to-turnover ratio this season while consistently making the right reads and keeping teammates involved within the offense. On top of his offensive production, he competes hard on the glass and shows toughness and anticipation rebounding the ball despite being undersized at 6'1. Any program that lands Johnson is getting an elite-level shooter who can create offense in multiple ways while also making winning plays for his team on a nightly basis @Treyvjohnson3@JaxonBarlow@Uorangemen2@TransferPortal
