@aerifrey This makes me hope for some great Cloud and Barrett moments in Revelation with what happens. The Remake serious has done a phenomenal job bringing these characters even more to life
@JenosonTwit 100% this. Shipping at the end of the day is fun dumb stuff and to have crazy ideas and concepts. It’s not cannon or ever going to be cannon. Sounds like the fans were respectful and they were all having fun. Hamaguchi is an experienced interviewer so he knows the different fans
@serinigalini Considering how end of Dirge of Cerberus and On The Way to A Smile (Lifestream Black Sections) establishes Sephiroth is functionally immortal, it’d be cool if he actually “won” but it’s so bad he gets away from Jenova and starts altering fate to change things while trapped
@aitaikimochi This reminds me of how in “Before Crisis” the Turks see the aftermath of Sephiroth dealing with an enemy section. He SLAUGHTERED everyone there with 0 effort and deep slashes everywhere in moments. It’s a casual reminder Sephiroth is a superhuman even amongst other SOLDIERs.
@gabriel1507_ One of the best Bleach videos I’ve seen is by Redman on YouTube called “Why was Aizen so Lonely”
It really looks deeply at his character and how this god among men yearns for connection unconsciously but sabotages it and thinks its strength to stand alone
@venus_impact I have a bad feeling with Traveler rumored to be the 10th harbinger that it’s going to start out as a tense thing but then quickly devolve into thawing the cold woman’s heart and she’s besties now BS while Pierro has to drag what’s goddamn left of the plot back to Khanria.
@sobiinsan At this point I see the Fatui as a group with massive potential that got butchered into Waifu, playable, and villain groups. It’s insane seeing Winter’s Noght Lazzlo then looking at every harbinger now.
It’s clear there’s been a writing shift at this point. Worried for Snezhnaya
@chairwoman_H The OG version of Sephiroth didn’t even know who cloud was but Remake is 100% spying on him constantly xD It’s so funny to think about him seeing all the stupid things like an observer
@VoidmageOsiris@royalzireaelff Japan and China have censorship laws with too much blood. It’s why President Shinra being stabbed had grey mist around it to censor it.
@JenosonTwit 🙏 manifesting puppet!Cloud fighting the party and having it be terrifying before they have to make a run for the ship as everything goes to hell
@Danomite_Dan@SSTPofficial@FFVIIR_CLOUD Even funnier is in World of Final Fantasy, the Sephiroth summon calls down meteor and the EXACT same pose happens. It came out before Remake too so I always wondered if it was a funny reference to that
@Rhomagus@kaiserknuckles7 Point was not that AC is bad because the world is worse but rather what Remake’s purpose is. In other theory videos he’s mentioned how post-AC is a bleak future because of the state of the world. And Sephiroth+Aerith jumping to change fate is to prevent the deadlock they’re in
@Braedberi__07 Advent Children is a great story about starting to heal. BUT, in terms of FF7 after Dirge of Cerberus… it’s a bad end. Sephiroth is immortal (On The Way to a Smile) and with omega weapon destroyed, the planet is now a prison but now can’t return to the universal life stream
@JenosonTwit I’m swear SE announced last year they’re moving away from Exclusivity (because they finally saw how it was hurting sales). I guess it’s just this year that they’ve finally went through with upcoming titles being multiplatform.
@O15666@Hunt621820 Dude was a bit of a savant when it came to Rebirth predictions before it released. Not everything was right but he did so much analysis that hit the mark because he understands the themes of the game. His Rebirth theories were insane and community spent weeks digging through lore
@Hunt621820 I think the middle ground is what he said. that Advent Children and Dirge DID happen canonically but both Aerith and Sephiroth essentially wrecked fate enough to divert the main path
