@Trish_Corry@TyrieLinda I look at ur page and I see u r typical ALP Laborist. Touchy feelly equality & dredistribution stuff without true structural change or a genuine class consciousness. That is the modern ALP.
@Trish_Corry@TyrieLinda Socialism is the ownership of the means of production by the state on behalf of th proletariat. If it's held on behalf of all the prols it can't be state capitalism because their is no one to exploit & no capitalist class. Thats Marx's definition.
@LaLegale @lynlinking Happens reasonably frequently. They can say to th interest groups they represent that they tried. Not all parts of the proposed Act may be invalid. Some may remain valid.
@LesStonehouse Current account surpluses are virtually meaningless because the money earned goes to overseas based company shareholders not Aust workers & multinationals evade tax.
@TyrieLinda @AnotherYtMan @WildeGio BS.Things can change quickly. Best to state ur position in strong terms not merely hope th other side loses th election.Thats what ALP tried unsuccessfully under Beazely & are trying again under Albo. Greens vote will increase next election. Courage of convictions is respected
@sallymcmanus Super payable on all income earned not only after first $450/mth. Current arrangements incentivise casualisation & labour hire engagement.
@TyrieLinda@Trish_Corry He is not up to it. No many in ALP are. They are just careerists without a genuine socialist consciousness. ALP is basically a career stepping stone for union execs.
@macec88 Dyke in th role Rogic usually plays. Second no.9 or attacking mid fielder. Dyke has got good pace and is 6' 2". He's scoring goals in Scots Premier League atm where Rogic cant get a game
@macec88 I would have selected Lyndon Dyke and used Harry Souttar & Milligan as other centreback if needed. Used Dyke as tall no 9 option or attacking midfielder option
@AnotherYtMan @TyrieLinda @WildeGio The addition of Palmers third conservative party in lower house kept the LNP in office as it meant voters could preference 3 conservative parties before ALP or Greens.
@AnotherYtMan @TyrieLinda @WildeGio Thats right but its not unusual for many to be undecided up until polling day and there is almost always a swing back to incumbent gov on polling day
@TyrieLinda It is not the Greens fault that voters deserted the ALP at the last minute. There is usually a swing to the incumbent on polling day & I recall Shorten chose to stay in Sydney mourning Bob Hawke rather than get out on the hustlings during the last days of the campaign.
