Los Angeles tenants get extremely frustrated because if their roommate stops paying rent, there is basically nothing they can do but cover the rent for them

For those that don’t know, it can take YEARS to get rid of a bad roommate or tenant in Los Angeles

California passed tenant protections that make it nearly impossible to remove someone even for nonpayment. Even squatters are protected
