@hankgreen I don't like when someone buys specific books for me when they don't know my reading tastes. I got three books one Christmas and felt a lot of pressure to read and like them. I read them all. Also hated them all.
@hankgreen My husband's aunt got me flowers that arrived literally as I was driving home from another doctor's appointment that same week.

@hankgreen This happened to my husband and I when we went to watch a world cup game after we had just moved to a new city. We sat at a table with a lovely couple and discussed soccer. They ended up buying our meal to welcome us to the city. This introvert thought it was great.
@maureenjohnson I feel like I'm looking back on my life from this past January and February when I took care of my mom after a fall.
@maureenjohnson I would like to argue that my mom is the worst patient ever, but anyone helping care for a Bad Patient deserves an award. I find that my mom is less stubborn when presented with options. A or B? And she usually, begrudgingly, picks the right choice.
