Trichy’s second Sipcot industrial park at Thiruverumbur has been officially notified, paving the way for investor outreach by Sipcot. Initiated in 2024 under the DMK government led by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, the 148.9-acre estate in Elandapatti and Suriyur villages was developed after surplus land from the High Energy Projectile Factory was retrieved and reclassified. Six companies have already visited the site.
