@Three_Cone This earases the possibility of a 3 point play at the line. Where you make the first, miss the second and get the rebound. I do see this as a means to try and make players improve ft shooting and pick up pace, but the "risk" between making or missing a free throw becames huge

I wouldn't throw a first round pick for a kawhi, an injury prone star with bad blood with the spurs

But between them? I'm not sure.
Wade is a better defender, but ruinis more complete offensively.
I could definitely see a world where we also pursue neither, waiting for development

Getting half of what he got last year, which makes sense with the play time he's gonna get with Julian being the starter.
Having HB in the locker room is a positive, and he can give us some juice at times.
Doesn't affect our other big decisions this year

@Matthew_Tynan HB for 8 mill is fine. He was getting 19 mill last year, makes sense he'd get less with Julian taking the starter spot (and with his new contact).
HB had his cold stretch this year, but this is a guy i want in my locker room for this team, can't be mad about that

Spurs could have been cheap and pay him 3 mill, but they showed that they are serious about this core, and payed him the money he deserves.
From being undrafted, to being tossed away, to impacting a finals run.
