@DanLumley90@N104AP There are plenty of banks with apps that work fine on GrapheneOS. If a bank tells you GrapheneOS is unsupported, send them the technical explanation on why that's BS, if they still insist on not supporting GrapheneOS, tell them you would like to close your account.
@ashsii7@Deploriot@LenahanJacob@FFmpeg I genuinely would have. But then it's back to the argument about whether the "MS Paint" graphic is good enough, and again, unlike with writing, not everyone has the skill/knowledge necessary to actually make a graphic.
@ashsii7@Deploriot@LenahanJacob@FFmpeg I guess I'm not arguing against hand written thank you letters because that's not a position I feel arguing against. I do however, believe it's not an argument in a conversation about social media post artworks, and was unnecessary at best, disingenuous and bad faith at worst.
@ashsii7@Deploriot@LenahanJacob@FFmpeg You went off to talk about apple juice and how you don't want synthetic apples, when the recipe calls for orange juice anyway.
@ashsii7@Deploriot@LenahanJacob@FFmpeg Here you again twist the analogy I was making. Comparing apples to oranges like comparing a thank you letter to an artwork. You instead present apples/apple juice as your "use MS Paint" argument. You've been disingenuous the entire time and it's clear you're arguing in bad faith.
@ashsii7@Deploriot@LenahanJacob@FFmpeg Awesome, and to do that you compared oranges that get harvested and shipped from overseas, to apples that grow in the orchard next to where you live.
@ashsii7@Deploriot@LenahanJacob@FFmpeg I agree that freshly pressed orange juice is better, but sometimes you just only have the option of getting the concentrate stuff.
@ashsii7@Deploriot@LenahanJacob@FFmpeg I'd like to point out that you literally replied to an argument about whether Ffmpeg could've commissioned art or not. You *actually* downplayed the skill required to make visual art, yes. Most people write every day. The amount of people (capable of) working w/ gfx is far less.
@gravax@alexis_roussel Play Integrity API permits a device with no updates for 10 years but not a heavily privacy/security hardened mobile OS based on AOSP.
GrapheneOS has far better exploit protections and patches. It has stronger verified boot and hardware-based attestation. Why isn't it permitted?
@ashsii7@Deploriot@LenahanJacob@FFmpeg At this point, considering you've already started from a rather bad faith position (comparing writing a thank you letter vs making accompanying artwork for an X post) and now you've chosen to misinterpret me having issue with that as an argument about what is art.
