i thought this was every single Palestinian child, and then i zoom in and its JUST 0 year olds. there is absolutely no "war" on Earth that could justify this
Fandom just updated their forking policy. You are now no longer allowed to promote a forked wiki on the wiki's front page. Before this change, you were given a two week period to promote a forked wiki. Fandom is paying attention to what communities like Hollow Knight are doing.
New video! The Hollow Knight wiki just forked from Fandom, but they are far from the only one to do so in recent times. Minecraft, WOW, Dead Cells, Pizza Tower, RuneScape, Terraria, Fallout and many more have all left Fandom as well. Let's talk about why that is. Please share!
@skye_farer I'm trans and I'm the reason the fork happened. I had to deal with transphobia while we were under Fandom.
That was an answer from someone who was not involved in forking and it very much isn't why we left.
If this did take my work, I'm not even sure if this is in accordance with the license I released the text under.
It feels like the only recourse available to fight against this is to flood the model with junk so it's not usable.
Fandom refused to take this wiki down after we returned to independence and now it looks like they are using generative A.I. for "quick answers" which are spreading misinformation.
Please stop using Fandom. We do not approve of our past work being used like this.
Also Wolf Link or really anything about having a dog companion. That was something they worked on early in BotW's development so it's unfortunate they scrapped it altogether, especially because they added in more NPCs to fight alongside.
Reminder that Aonuma just asked "what would Link do?" in response to an interview about Zelda being playable for the game where they literally kill Link and set everything up for Zelda to be the playable character.
They had her go sit in a castle for 100 years instead.
For upgrades, I'm sure they tested several configurations and went with what felt the best, but many things about this game don't feel quite finished. I wonder how many things are going to stay the same in Tears of the Kingdom because of that.
Many of Breath of the Wild's design decisions are hard for me to wrap my head around. The rewards for exploration aren't tied to how much stamina you have (so you can pace exploration), but are instead for how many weapons you can have. That feels almost like Metroid I guess.
The second one is a little kinder, but maybe not necessary because it's about as deep as you can go into the cold area of the Great Plateau. If you make it that far, you probably don't need it.
