The reason I asked for a stronger show is because I knew my value. A lot of athletes wanted to be the face of the company, but it didn’t work for them. They stayed at the bottom while I kept moving the conversation.
And about New York… the false starts were intentional. If Puma wasn’t paying me, why would I give free publicity?
At the end of the day, athletes gotta understand their worth. Attention is currency. Presence is power. And I’m done giving either away for free.
