Welcome to Nami, a unified on-chain system where trading, liquidity, voting, and credit operate across chains as one coordinated protocol.
One Engine.
Multiple Products.
One connected DeFi experience.
@Apeguru Build something that lasts? How about you build something that LAUNCHES… been waiting on that VaultEdge for a year now? I’d rather get my 💵💵💵 back please
If Sonic governance uses ~27M S of “ecosystem / growth” funds to retro-bailout a single DEX, it’s not a credibly neutral chain anymore.
I'm strongly opposed to this proposal and, if this passes, I will put forth a proposal to wind down Origin’s Sonic deployments.

A money lesson I had to UNLEARN:
When I was growing up, my parents always preached the value of saving money.
We rarely ate out.
I could only buy clothes for school if it was on sale.
They lived and breathed, "a penny saved is a penny earned"
I applied this mentality to the business world. That was a mistake.
One year, I lost 5-figures in a single day. We were anticipating a massive Black Friday deal. As soon as traffic started coming in, the servers crashed because I had us on the poverty tier servers.
There was one event that made everything click for me.
I needed a new website developed. I found a team for $5 an hour. I wanted to work with them because they were cheap, and they talked a big game.
They said it'd take 2 weeks - it ended up taking 3 months and costing around $5k.
The website ended up being shit. Garbage. Unusable.
I talked to my developer friend. While he didn't have the bandwidth for my project, he recommended one of his good friends.
Me: "Bro, he's $100/hr. I can't afford him"
Him: "Trust me. Pay for quality and it'll be even cheaper"
I hired him. He built the entire website in 10 hours for $1000. And the quality of it was insane.
I actually saved money because I was willing to spend more.
Why does this happen? Because you want to buy LEVERAGE, not labor.
A high quality professional can make smarter decisions, avoid expensive mistakes, and work more efficiently. You're also paying them for JUDGEMENT.
I've seen this pattern play out so many times in my life:
• I recently upgraded my tax accountant. They cost more per hour, but they've saved me thousands in taxes that I wouldn't have found otherwise.
• Luggage. I've usually bought cheap luggage over the years and I'd replace them every 2 years. A few years ago I spend more for some "Briggs & Riley" luggage. The quality is so good that I haven't had to repair it since buying it. (If I do need to, they have a lifetime guarantee)
• I've spent a lot on my mattress and my ergonomic chair (Steel case leap). Poor products can cause you back pain which will cost you more in the long-run, and I'm not talking about just money.
This explains why some people are willing to spend thousands of dollars to fly business class. If they have an important business meeting, then they want to arrive feeling as refreshed as possible.
The lesson?
Being cheap is expensive.
Once I stopped looking at price tags and started looking at leverage, quality, and long-term ROI, everything changed.
Sometimes, the most profitable thing you can do is spend more.
SET IT AND FORGET IT!
Partial of my $S has been farming on @SwapXfi with 100% APR, almost 0.3% daily to earn $SWPx
While most of my $S liquid is in my portfolio for potential upside gains.
@ichifoundation makes it easy 😎
