🇺🇸 A huge boost to the USMNT: Chris Richards is available for the World Cup opener against Paraguay and says he hasn't been told of any minutes restrictions.
"If I start Friday, it's not going to put my tournament in jeopardy." https://t.co/Zy54mUD7Uy
@FelipeCar This is what happens when you expand the World Cup to include teams with no business being there. Also what happens when you let 75% of the third place teams through to the knockouts; completely cheapens the group stage
If anyone at LIV were to disprove (or even half-heartedly deny) what NYT, WSJ, FT, Bret Baier, etc., reported over the past week, I would welcome the new information. But that hasn't happened. Instead, we've gotten this vague, pissy lashing out at anonymous sourcing and the supposedly corrupt media. This kind of thing poisons public discourse, and guys like Arlo White and David Feherty should be ashamed to participate in it.
@ANGC_burner He is so unwell that he can’t even commentate on the winning moment without mentioning it’s a “high class field”. Grievance, grievance, grievance with that guy
What chess move number is it when you:
-Admit you’re only funded through ‘26
-Everyone sees it
-Delete it
-Repost the interview with that part cut out and just hope nobody notices?
Regardless of what happens today and the tackiness/problematic morality of the entire enterprise, LIV is the worst thing to happen to a major sport in my lifetime
There are people, actual people, taking issue with Rory McIlroy improving his Masters chances by practicing golf. What's especially funny is that a high percentage of these people will take no issue with players seeking to improve their chances by building new golf clubs.
The "Rory had an unfair advantage" discourse may be the most insane I've seen on this app.
If you utter those words or believe it to be true, you just don't get it
