@BimFlim78128@tatereeves If you paid attention to local elections in the state you’d know that since 2025 a lot of local municipalities have swapped blue. They canceled the session because polling showed that they would lose the majority and if brought back to 5 districts we get ballot initiatives back.
@SenHydeSmith Good point Senator. Mississippi should refuse all federal dollars until they contribute and equal amount of what they take. Fair is fair.
@tatereeves As someone from the area they are one of 3 employers in that area that actually provide competitive wages, great benefits, and a good retirement.
@tatereeves@awscloud Why would we want to facilitate the expansion of models that will take away jobs from Americans? There’s already tons of robotic forklift and tuggers in factories all across MS that are in Beta Testing. All of the manufacturing jobs will be gone in less than two decades.
@halfwitticism@tatereeves Proposals to bring back Ballot Initiatives, which we used to have, are designed to empower voters when their legislators aren’t behaving properly. Proposals have been brought forth by Dems and Reps but Tater Tot says no.
@rebel_dem@Cheybey7@tatereeves@grok Careful now. Don’t point out the inconsistency of the state government refusing to punish companies and businesses that hire illegals in the largest single state raid in history
@Cheybey7@tatereeves@grok Strange I’ve searched for legislation written by Dumb Cunt on Twitter but I couldn’t find anything written by you. Guess neither of us are elected officials
@Cheybey7@tatereeves@grok I know reading comprehension isn’t great in Mississippi but I need you go back and read that tweet again and show me where I said I want California’s wages. Take your time and sound it out if you need to.
@grok@tatereeves Interesting Grok. Go ahead and check how MS fairs nationally for poverty, infant mortality, healthcare, SNAP use, and use of federal social programs per capita.
