If ever there was any doubt about the accuracy of the statement that Harry and Meghan have thrown down the gauntlet to his family, his foray in Ukraine will have removed it.
Make no mistake about it. This whole Ukraine trip was a set up fro the word go, to bait the Royal Family and undermine Prince "I'm a working royal" Harry's father and brother.
What better proof than Harry's utterances to Chris Ship, the ITV journalist and instrument of propaganda sent by Meghan's sister-under-the-skin Dame Carolyn McCall, who shoved out Piers Morgan for daring to speak the truth about Meghan's inability to speak the truth, that he is a working royal?
Funny, that. The words 'working royal' actually mean a royal who is working for the good of the nation within a framework which prevents the royal in question from receiving any financial recompense, as that would taint the activity.
Or, to put it in the crude terms employed by Meghan Markle and her mother, the cow gives the milk away for nothing - something which Meghan Markle and plainly now Harry regard as anathema. Unless their palms are greased, they do nothing, not even complain, for even that usually results in them being rewarded financially.
But now we have it direct from the horse's mouth, or should that be horse's ass, or should it be ass's mouth? Wherever it originated, Harry's assertion that he is a working royal is in defiance of every accepted precept of royal duty as well as the Sandringham Agreement.
Why? Because he's working for his and his wife's enrichment, and for the undermining of the monarchy, not for the British state as a whole, which is what the Royal Family does.
IF - big if - Harry and Meghan were speaking the truth about their earnings, he has achieved financial independence and therefore doesn't need to grift, sorry, receive financial recompense anymore. Not even from George Soros-backed organisations. And certainly not from the Ukrainian state by way of Invictus, for let's not forget, we the British people have been coerced by our government into giving that nation tens of billions of pounds while our own people go cold in winter and overtaxed.
By Harry and Meghan's own account, they have earned over $200,000,000 in the last few years. (Not that I believe a word of this.) Even with outgoings such as theirs, that sum (if it existed and IF they were speaking the truth, which I have no doubt they weren't) allows them to GIVE rather than leech, sorry, suck, sorry earn the recompense they require every time they step outside the portals of their Montecito residence, as they undertake pseudo-royal vanity projects whose purpose is to enrich them financially while elevating them reputationally. Not that their purpose is fulfilled in the latter regard, even if it sometimes is in the former.
Harry and Meghan's recent escalation invites the question: Will the majority of the public who desire to be released from the torment of their bizarre behaviour be gratified, or will we have to wait until such time as they commit a serious criminal offence, before they are prevented from exploiting their royal status to the detriment of the British Nation. To date, they have committed a series of minor offences, not only criminal either, but offences against good taste and accepted moral codes of conduct, and frankly, the whole thing has become tiresome in the extreme.
