As you get older, happiness becomes influenced by how you handle loss; loved ones pass away, relationships end, health fails, some dreams are never realized.
Loss is painful. It changes you. You become more gentle & empathetic. Loss creates a holiness that comes in no other way.
I remain of the opinion that Utah’s covid response is as good as anywhere else. Perfect? Of course not. But my kids have been in school, the economy is open, our per capita death rate remains low, & the National Guard leaves me alone. Thank you, @SpencerJCox, for your leadership.

Recent COVID-19 case counts and deaths are a sobering reminder of just how contagious this Omicron variant is. Like every other state, we expect record case numbers for the next few weeks.
We have the tools to beat this, but they only work if people use them.
