“I booked this for us”
“So I was thinking, did you wanna do —— with me?”
“Should we try this new food place?”
“Be ready or 8pm”
“Book ____ days off work, as I booked us a trip”
🥺
As a parent I’d NEVERRRRR tell my kids “I’m not coming to get you” or “find you a way home” IDC IDC.. Rain, snow, hail. 3pm or 3am, I’m coming for mine! PERIOD!!
As a hyper independent girly (to a fault) I do not like asking for sht it makes me uncomfortable. That's why I like men who just DO. Don't ask, just figure out what I need/want and DO IT
Tolerating always turns to resentment. At first, you call it patience, then love. But what it really is, is self-abandonment. Every time you swallow a boundary, excuse a pattern, or silence your discomfort, something inside you keeps score. And eventually, the bill comes due.
