My grandma worked for Target for 35 years, her 1st and only job, bought 2 houses 1 in LA and 1 in Denver. Raised 3 kids on her own and lived comfortably. She retired back in 2016. Companies aren’t paying livable wages anymore, while they profit millions. It should be illegal.

I tell my son to take a deep breath breath when he’s overwhelmed or throwing a tantrum. I always feel silly but still do it because yelling doesn’t calm a tantrum. The last two nights he’s grabbed my face and in a gentle voice told me to take deep breaths
