Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) – a leading cause of death worldwide – was a key focus last week.
1️⃣ At the G20 Health Ministers Meeting, a new declaration was published, which included tackling AMR to help protect people from the threat of infectious diseases. [1/2]
At the Centre for Research in Infectious Diseases, scientists from Cameroon and across Africa are on the ground working to end deadly diseases like malaria. This story is best told firsthand––which is why I invited @Cam_CRID founder and executive director Dr. Charles Wondji (@cwondji) to share it: https://t.co/oi6pZYUuJG
