@its_knapp_time_@gwilk44@DPWorldTour@DalkeKong3 PGA Tour players can:
A. Have really bad opinions.
B. Be afraid of the pushback they would get for expressing a negative opinion on him (negative to the YT brigade).
So O don’t think this is the winning argument you assume it is. Mind you there’s NO winning argument.
@Matthew1626s@DPWorldTour@DalkeKong3 Nothing about YT seems genuine at all.
It’s all cut for the best possible look and if you have not figured that out yet, then that’s the problem we have.
He absolutely should get back on the tour, he no doubt has talent, but becoming famous on YouTube and then getting sponsor exemptions to get into tournaments, only because he has a following, is a cheap shortcut to all the guys that are doing the hard grind.
THAT is my point, there are hundreds of players that are doing the grind and they didn’t get the spot he got just because he is famous and brought some eyeballs to a mostly unknown or otherwise ignored tournament.
In any case those sponsor exemptions come to an end in 2028.
@mikesowerss@JohnTurnbull03@bunkeredgolf In any case they will continue to exist and I’ll continue to ignore it, however, luckily in 2028 the PGA and its affiliated tours will kill the sponsor exemptions so they won’t bleed into actual valid tournaments and events.
@mikesowerss@JohnTurnbull03@bunkeredgolf That may be, and I appreciate that may be your honest feelings on the genre, to me it looks fake, rehearsed, edited and curated for the best possible angle and simpleton fans buy into it.
@Jjoeyj83@mikesowerss@JohnTurnbull03@bunkeredgolf I know enough that it triggered you and a whole bunch of other golf bros, it’s my experience that when people get triggered it’s because what was said landed.
Happy Trails!
@CJCrisologo8@HexTexican@DPWorldTour@DalkeKong3 Dímelo!
I imagine it is super hard, but, anything worth doing would be hard.
Feel free to share your experiences and how you feel about it, even if we disagree!
