For 251 years, the men and women of the United States Army have stood as the guardians of freedom, defending our nation against all enemies, foreign and domestic. From the fields of the American Revolution to the battlefields of today, generations of Soldiers have answered the call to serve with courage, honor, and selfless sacrifice.

Today, we honor the legacy of those who came before us, remember those who gave their lives in defense of our nation, and thank the Soldiers currently serving around the world. Their unwavering commitment to duty has preserved the freedoms we enjoy as Americans and ensured that the torch of liberty continues to shine brightly.

At Triple Bravo Initiative, we are especially grateful for the Veterans who have worn the Army uniform and continue to serve their communities long after their military service ends. Your sacrifices will never be forgotten.

From June 18–21, 2026, Triple Bravo Initiative will once again gather at the Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial in Marseilles, Illinois, to honor, remember, and pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

On Saturday, June 20th, our CFO, David Bierl, and our CEO, Danny Barrett Jr., will proudly ride in the Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run as it makes its way to the Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial.

Following the ceremony at the Wall, be sure to visit Triple Bravo Initiative's booth on Main Street in Marseilles during Freedom Fest! We'll be there meeting supporters, sharing information about our mission to support Veterans affected by TBI and PTSD, and connecting with our incredible community.

Today, we honor the 81st Anniversary of Victory in Europe Day (V-E Day) — May 8, 1945 — the day Nazi Germany officially surrendered to Allied forces, bringing an end to World War II in Europe.

V-E Day stands as a powerful reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering determination of the Greatest Generation. Millions of brave American service members fought across Europe to defend freedom and liberate oppressed nations from tyranny. Their legacy of valor and patriotism continues to inspire generations today.

As we remember this historic victory, we also pause to honor the countless heroes who never made it home. Their sacrifice secured liberty not only for Europe, but for the world. Freedom is never free.
