Interesting war in the Middle East. Nobody expects that Iran can be this strong. At least nothing at all, it will reshape the middle East order snd if possible the entire world. Kudos to Iran for been able to strike back at US/Israel. Missiles attack shouldn't stop at all.

As Governor of Edo State, I believe a clean environment is not just a reflection of good governance — it is a reflection of who we are as a people. From day one, I made it clear that we must restore dignity to our streets and communities.

This is why we’ve invested in modern waste management equipment such as; payloaders, tippers, compactors and more to equip our agencies for the task ahead. But equipment alone is not enough. That is why I have reintroduced the monthly environmental sanitation exercise — every last Saturday of the month from 7:00am to 10:00am — as a collective effort to clean our surroundings, restore order, and safeguard public health.

This is more than a policy; it is a movement.
A clean Edo is a healthy Edo, a safe Edo, and an attractive Edo for investors. I call on every citizen and resident to join hands with us — sweep your gutters, clear your drains, tidy your markets and streets. This is our shared responsibility.

Together, let us make our State SHINE. Because A New Edo Has Risen — and it must rise clean.

Yesterday, I visited Kano State to personally condole with the families of those who lost their lives in the tragic Uromi killings. No words can fully capture their pain, but I assured them that justice will be served and that Edo State stands against this act of violence.

This is beyond Edo or Kano—it is about justice, peace, and national unity. I have received firm assurances from the President that security agencies are fully mobilized to ensure that all perpetrators face the full weight of the law.

I deeply appreciate Governor @Kyusufabba Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State and our brothers in the Arewa and Edo communities for standing firm in the pursuit of peace. Violence cannot define us. We will not allow this tragedy to divide our people.

Edo remains a land of hospitality and unity. Together, we will ensure that justice prevails.

Nigeria must move forward in peace.

Today, I embarked on a surprise inspection visit to ongoing road construction projects across Benin City, Edo State, to personally assess the situation on the ground and ensure that work is progressing as planned.

For me, infrastructure is not just about roads—it’s about connecting people, boosting businesses, and laying the foundation for Edo’s transformation. My commitment remains steadfast: Edo must have the best infrastructure possible, and I will not rest until that vision becomes a reality.

Practical Governance is in motion, and every road built is a step toward a greater Edo.
