@DirtyMoMedia@CLTMotorSpdwy I look at the Roval the same way as Bristol dirt. Is it an ok race? yeah! but does it take the place of something better? Also yes!
@DeanoFate@ChampagneRacin I’d highly recommend listening to Denny Hamlin’s and Dale Jr.’s podcast. One reason they don’t trust each other is they know if someone pulls out of line they’re going straight to the back fast cause there’s too much drag, and they’ll happily take that place than try to help
@DeanoFate@ChampagneRacin Why do you think they’re not jumping out of line though? Genuinely curious and not trying to be a jerk, but I think they’re not going for the move because there’s no reward for it now.
@willmcd13@daltongreco I agree. Can’t really slide the NextGen around cause the moment air isn’t flowing perfectly straight under the diffuser you lose all downforce and the car just snaps around.
@DrewVrooman@daltongreco@ItsBristolBaby Also, I think since the cars have less horsepower, they have to use the outside lane to keep momentum up. That’s the tough thing about the lower horsepower is it’s just momentum racing.
@DrewVrooman@daltongreco@ItsBristolBaby Pretty sure they got rid of it by grinding it down, but all it did was put texture and grip in the outside lane, so it didn’t really fix the problem
@KyleDotMorgan@dustinlong@KyleBusch No. He’s just a veteran who used to drive the same way as Hocevar and then he learned that to win you have to be more calculated with your aggression. Which is basically what he is saying about Hocevar here.
@ihatekylebusch0@bobpockrass Since he moved to RCR he’s usually up near the front at most of the super speedway races. And honestly, this car makes it so that you don’t have to be crazy talented on superspeedways, he kinda just avoids wrecks like Byron and is there at the end.
@jaybutray@supercars I think that’s from the side draft. If you’re unfamiliar it’s more of a NASCAR thing, but if you watch he gets his front tire right beside Feeney’s back tire. This dumps a ton of air on his wing and slows him down.
@12bluedeuce2@A_S12@TheCW@nielsen@SBJ@GettyImages It’s a free channel that might not show up on the guide as CW. For me it says it’s KTLA channel 5 until I click on it (I have DIRECTV in LA area). Next time an Xfinity race is on check your low numbered channels and you might find it. The coverage was a lot better in my opinion
@RyCamN7@bobpockrass Just like any other sport though the officials could have it wrong. Seems like this incident fell in kind of a gray area where team and sanctioning body both had different interpretations.
