A few clips of Tripp Kata on the bump. The RHP had a solid start with a no-hitter working through 4 innings. Tough 5th led to some runs, but overall a lot of potential and kept his squad in the game. All around competitor and wasn’t afraid to go head to head with a good lineup.

‘27 RHP/SS Tripp Kata will be one to note.

Son of former big leaguer Matt Kata (@MattK8A). Listed at 5-10, 140 lbs. Up to 85 MPH today in his start and really competed. Was through four scoreless, but had a rocky 5th. Tons of bright spots vs. a good lineup and should make jumps in the next two years.
