I watched @CoachKimani build from the ground up, so for Mali to be a part of his journey & Legacy was everything. Thank you Coach for holding him accountable. My Boy not only got better in basketball he got better in life. Always Grateful.

Youncofski has spent the last few years at the Gazelle Group and previously worked at UConn, where he mentored current Huskies DOBO Paul Wetteman.
Happy 6th Year Anniversary of “you better get us now”
January 18, 2020, UConn loses a tough game to Villanova 61-55 to fall to 10-7. Up to that point Dan Hurley was 26-24 in his second season.
Since that date UConn is 157-46 with two National Championships
"Who's protecting college basketball?"
I asked @dhurley15 this AM for a quote, re: CBB's in-season free agency trend. He sent back a voice memo tonight. I've transcribed it in full and am sharing b/c it needs to be read by every person who claims to care about college athletics.
One of our newest licensees, Local Hoops, is doing a pop-up in NYC, excited to for everyone to see the @UConnHuskies collection.

Saw two incredible game preparations by @KUHoops & @UConnMBB last 48 hours. Both teams were locked in defensively. Huskies’ assistants’ Luke Murray & Kimani Young are more than ready to be head coaches but few mid-majors can afford them. They are well compensated for good reason.
I spent my day sharing my journey, life lessons and wisdom with the young men at Indian River Juvenile Justice Center.
I had trouble with incarceration both as a youth and an adult. After successfully making it out of all of my bad choices and learning to live and grow it’s only appropriate that I pass the story down.
My life essentially changed because of recreational reading. Prison gave me the space and time to retrain my mind. Relentless reading and reflecting while simultaneously thinking about who I wanted to become changed my life.
If anyone ever invites me to speak please understand that I’m not a motivational speaker. I push, talk about, promote and speak about reading. There’s people who do that extremely well and at a high level. I just talk and push/promote self education and personal development.
I wish all these young brothers well. I’ve walked in their shoes.
"When you have great parents that have held you accountable and been honest with you and told you the truth...you're going to be able to accept that from a coach."
You want your kid to be a great player?
Start by making sure they’re a great person.
That’s the foundation.
