To recap
1. Airlines spent 96% of free cash on stock buybacks for a decade
2. They got a $50 billion bailout & cut 90,000 jobs anyway
3. They returned to billions in profits, paid back $0 to taxpayers & raised ticket prices 16%
4. They canceled the 2nd-most flights ever this year
The Kansas Jayhawks, as a program, have a $100M athletics budget across all sports for this fiscal year.
The Texas Longhorns posted a $105M profit in football alone last year - a pandemic year, no less.
Texas just lost to Kansas in football.
It really saddens me that Kyle is referred to as a “kid who had to defend himself” by people who had no sympathy for Trayvon, who was walking home, unarmed and un-white.
Imagine killing an aid worker. Imagine killing his family too. Imagine seven of them were actually children, smiling little tots.
Then just rising from your chair to grab a coffee and saying, "mistakes were made."
This is absolutely unforgivable.
According to the Constitution we have the *legal right to protest* (the people he killed were NOT looting); according to the dictionary people who kill people are called *murderers*: and the people they kill are called *victims*.
This judge should be removed from the case.
you ever lay awake at night and think about how airlines spent 96% of their free cash flow on stock buybacks for a decade, then cut 90,000 jobs as soon as trouble hit, then got a $50 billion bailout, then the government just kicked people off unemployment
