No--not what the guidelines say. They say soymilk is fine for kids. And kids don't need to "avoid" other plant milks; just shouldn't rely on them for nutrition. (It's also worth noting that excessive cow's milk raises risk for iron deficiency in toddlers.)

Yes, you can include veggie meats (and other processed foods) in a healthy diet. These foods are safe, are better for the environment and don't exploit animals. They provide choices for both vegans and meat-eaters. Seems like a win.
