It's official - I am so honoured to have been sworn in last night as an @HCDSB Trustee. I look forward to serving this community for the next four years, with a focus on the pillars on which I ran: Faith, Diversity, and Education. Let's do this!
If your Christianity causes you to mock people with disabilities.
If your Christianity causes you to mock the genuine expressions of emotion and love.
If your Christianity causes you to mock men who cry.
Your Christianity has nothing to do with Jesus.
The Republican Party has spent the past 12 hours dragging a child online for showing love, emotion, and pride for his dad. This is exactly why they're going to lose in November.
Itโs up to us to remember what Kamalaโs mother told her: Donโt just sit around and complain โ do something!ย
We only have two and a half months left until Election Day.
So, letโs get to work! https://t.co/6g4HZzXITi
Re: the hateful comments about Gus Walz, son of @Tim_Walz, by self-professed Christians. NB: 90% of the Christian life is: Don't be mean. Also, do you think Jesus would mock someone with any kind of disability? Remember your Gospels: these are precisely the people Jesus seeks out

We as a Council are united in our support to end domestic violence. This new Purple Bench initiated by Halton Womenโs Place, at the west lawn lookout point in Spencer Smith Park, is a physical reminder and show of solidarity and support from our #BurlON community to all those who experience domestic violence of all kinds. It is also a reminder that there is support and help out there from community organizations like Halton Womenโs Place and I want to thank them for the exceptional and important work they do.
