One of my central objectives in my work in the EU Parliament is finally becoming a reality. Now the official #investigation into the unspeakable corona policy will begin, which with its draconian and even totalitarian measures has severely weakened our society, extremely damaged citizens' trust in politics and at the same time plunged many people into absolute despair and physically harmed or even killed them by means of experimental mRNA injections.

+++ Christine Anderson: Request for Committee of Inquiry into COVID Deals Reaches Required Support +++

It has been officially confirmed today: The request to establish a #committee_of_inquiry into the
@EU_Commission's vaccine #contracts — in particular the controversial Pfizer deals under Ursula von der #Leyen — has reached the required 180 supporters in the European Parliament. The request, titled “#TRAC – Transparency and Accountability,” will now be submitted to the Conference of Presidents for further decision in accordance with Article 215 of the Rules of Procedure.

The planned committee is intended to thoroughly investigate:

➡️ the EU Commission’s vaccine negotiations, particularly the personal SMS communications between the Commission President and #Pfizer,
➡️ alleged corruption cases such as #Qatargate and #Huaweigate,
➡️ as well as the influence exerted by non-governmental organizations (#NGOs) funded by the Commission.

💬📢 Christine Anderson, Member of the European Parliament & Chief Whip of the ESN Group, stated:

“One of my key priorities during this legislative term has been the review of COVID-19 policies, especially regarding vaccine procurement. Citizens have a right to know how multi-billion euro contracts with liability waivers could be concluded via #SMS text messages. This committee will shine a light on the dark corners of #corruption within the Commission — not only in relation to vaccines but also concerning the influence of Chinese companies and Gulf states.

Now it is up to the European Christian Democrats, Social Democrats, Greens, and Leftists to decide whether they will heed our call for transparency, accountability, and political responsibility — or continue to beat the drum of so-called transparency while failing to act themselves.
