@BrookesMob 60% of my job when I managed an ER was trying to explain the nightmare that is ER billing to patients during or after their stay. Loved having to explain that a COVID test that would be free at CVS cost them $2200 because the system is a joke!!

@BrookesMob It’s probably the out of pocket actually! Because ER billing is a horrendous joke. You also get billed for the facility, dr, lab, and radiologist (if you had imaging done) separately too. So a $200 ER copay is actually going to cost you closer to $800+
