When the world talks about the green transition, Adani’s Khavda Renewable Energy Park shows what it looks like when ambition meets execution.
Nearly 60 million solar panels.
Hundreds of wind turbines.
Day-night power generation on a single site.
A footprint larger than many global cities.
At full scale, Adani’s Khavda project will deliver 30 GW of clean power, setting a new global benchmark for renewable energy development.

Khavda: Where India Is Building the World’s Largest Renewable Park... 🔥
> 726 sq km — larger than Paris
> Target: 30 GW of solar + wind
> Enough power for a country-sized population
> ~7 GW already operational
Built on salt flats once considered unusable, Khavda combines solar by day and wind by night to reduce intermittency.
📌 Here's the Next phase:
> India’s largest battery storage project
1,126 MW / 3,530 MWh
> Designed to stabilise the grid
👉 This isn’t symbolism... It’s energy transition at scale.

One of the article’s most valuable but understated insights is that #Khavda could not be built using “off-the-shelf European solutions”
Examples include:
turbines designed to operate at 50°C without derating
customised foundations for unstable saline soil
desalination plants for operations and workers
waterless robotic panel cleaning due to extreme salinity
This demonstrates that #Khavda is not just a capital-intensive project, but a locally engineered industrial system—a crucial distinction for global energy transition narratives. Well done @gautam_adani.

World's largest renewable energy park in Khavda, Gujarat!
• Khavda Renewable Energy Park, Gujarat, is the world’s largest renewable project (30 GW).
• Developed mainly by Adani Green Energy under the Adani Group, combining solar and wind at one site.
• Led by leaders including Gautam Adani, with operations involving Adani Wind.
• India added record renewable capacity, supported by grid and storage plans including large battery systems at Khavda.
• Analysts from IEEFA and CarbonBridge say the project marks a major step in India’s clean energy transition, even as coal remains part of the mix.

₹6 lakh crore invested in #Maharashtra over the next decade by the #AdaniGroup isn’t just a number.
It’s airports, clean energy, data centres, manufacturing — and lakhs of jobs.
For young Indians, this is about careers being built at home, not just dreams abroad. #Employment #GenZ
For #India’s youth, growth matters only if it creates opportunity.
The ₹6 lakh crore #Maharashtra investment means skills, startups, jobs and infrastructure — across cities and communities.
Not short-term headlines, but a long-term bet on our future. #Employment#GenZ
In a cautious investment climate, waiting feels safe.
But building early often shapes outcomes.
As others defer capex, Adani is investing at scale betting that #India’s demand, urbanisation and energy transition will outpace hesitation. #Maharashtra#AdaniGroup
While much of corporate #India is slowing big capex amid global uncertainty, the #AdaniGroup is moving the other way — committing ₹6 lakh crore to infrastructure, energy and manufacturing just in the state of #Maharashtra alone.
A clear bet that India’s growth is structural, not cyclical. #ViksitBharat
India Enters the Global Solar Elite... Adani Solar in World Top 10 🇮🇳🔥
> Adani Solar is the only Indian company in Wood Mackenzie’s Global Top 10 solar module manufacturers (H1 2025).
