𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗕 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 ❗️

Morning All,

A statement from First Team gaffers @colski86 & @Tommyw_g.

Now that our fixtures have been completed our management team would like to make the following statement to clarify the teams position following alot of speculation.

After our game against Cockfosters FC Development on the 11th May it was brought to our attention that their #24 was registered only to play Spartan league fixtures and therefore ineligible for Hscl football. After not being able to raise a side and therefore forfeiting 3 points previously in the 22/23 season, although we have on multiple occasions raised the issue of reserve teams fielding multiple first team players, we would like to state that Cockfosters were fully in thier rights to field the squad they did to fulfill the fixture.

That being said, we believe fielding an unregistered player does and should have its consequences under the existing league rules and after raising this matter with the hscl we fully expect the leagues management committee to take the appropriate action.

We will make no further comments until this matter has been resolved.
