My favorite film is “A Man for All Seasons“ starring Robert Shaw and Paul Schofield, chronicling the relationship between Sir Thomas More, and Henry VIII. However, that’s a subjective call. I think the best film might indeed be, “Casablanca”. Relatively small scale, historically important, great casting from top to bottom, incredible lighting, romantic and riveting storyline, great direction, memorable music. So many quotable lines. It’s a small scale film with a small budget not weighed down with special effects or gimmicks. Stands the test of time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
