The Maze Survivor: The Ninth Entrants just launched on Steam!
It’s a survival horror game about trust, traps, and the maze runner style.
Monsters, ghosts, puzzles
1–5 player co-op
Every run teaches you something
No map. No mercy. No reset.

@Just_Magikarp Oh right — wow, thank you, my friend! It’s been an incredibly busy day. I really hope you all have a great time playing — your enjoyment is my happiness.
🎮 No art, just gameplay.
I’m a solo dev who can’t afford artists —
So I built a horror co-op maze game focused purely on survival, puzzles, and monsters
It’s janky. It’s weird. But it’s fun
Would you try it?

Only 5 days left until The Maze Survivor: The 9th Entrants launches on Steam.
Can’t believe it’s almost here after more than 2 years of solo development.
I’m excited and nervous. I have no idea how this will go —

@SplattrCatGames Hello Splattercat,I spent two years developing a horror survival game all by myself — would you be interested in trying it out? I also messaged you on other platforms because I wasn’t sure where you usually check your messages. Sorry if I bothered you!
Why hasn’t a Maze Runner-style survival horror game taken off in the West?
The formula is perfect:
1️⃣ Multiple types of monsters, all hunting you from different angles
2️⃣ Co-op that balances freedom and clear long-term goals
3️⃣ A mix of horror & humor that’s actually fun to play
4️⃣ Parkour, puzzles, combat, stealth, farming, and open exploration — all in one game
Yet it seems like Chinese players connect with this genre more deeply. Is it cultural? A stronger familiarity with collective survival and moral ambiguity?
