In my novel he is skilled witcher, just a typical adventure for him. But sometimes dream beings causes unexplainable things in reality, and it endangers the existence of the coven. The he need to be vigilant in both worlds. That's the idea in two words :)

But it is not horror story, he is like fish in water in sutiations, that usual people may count as nightmares. For survive in confrontation of mages he uses artifacts and techniques of controlling dream space. Like Dr. Strange but only while sleeping =)
