You can’t make this stuff up 😭
Ole Miss just lost to Mississippi State because a player got down on all fours and pretended to pee like a dog while celebrating.
Unsportsmanlike conduct (15 yards) ➡️ Missed extra point
Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin was asked during the weekly SEC coaches call about his name being mentioned for job vacancies:
"It's just that time of year, it is what it is.”
“We have to stay focused on what we're building here, not pay attention to the outside noise,” he said
We've got a broken 6" water main at the intersection of Heritage and West Jackson Ave. Customers on the north side of Jackson Ave may see a reduction in pressure due to the issue. Crews are working to isolate the line and will complete the repair ASAP.
“Connie Hollins, said she called Ole Miss athletic trainer Pat Jernigan to say her son was "suffering a mental health crisis" and requested a counselor to speak with and monitor Rollins.”
So the Ole Miss staff KNEW something was up and did fuck all.
No wellness check, nothing.
Many head coaches tout mental health, saying publicly, it’s important, but behind closed doors, aren’t believers.
This type of language from Kiffin communicates he doesn’t trust his players, & mental health is being used as an excuse.
A terrible message.
