Looking forward to opening the Aviation Debate in Parliament on Thursday 10th September. Chance for MPs to support aviation workers and businesses and hear Government response. #aviation#BusinessQuestion
@MrAndy_Carter would you like to help your distressed constituents with this and sign the pledge please? Or maybe show some support in Parliament on Thursday when the aviation sector is discussed? Your constituents need your support. #BAbetrayal#ShameOnBA#fireandrehire
If BA won't stop #fireandrehire and negotiate reasonable, temporary changes then it proves it is not focused on focused on high quality service and providing good, well paid jobs. Let's get this debate heard in Parliament

@MikeAmesburyMP thank you for signing the pledge to support BA workers. Please can I ask for your continued support on Thursday in Parliament when the aviation sector is being discussed? #BAbetrayal#ShameOnBA
@MrAndy_Carter please sign the pledge, support your constituents. Their livelihoods are going down the drain and you’re indifferent about it. They’ll remember this come voting day #BAbetrayal#ShameOnBA
@MrAndy_Carter shame that the BA workers in your constituency won’t be able to afford to support local restaurants. Won’t you support them too? #BAbetrayal#ShameOnBA
@MrAndy_Carter why ARE you refusing to support your constituents? The very people YOU expect to vote for you? They will remember your behaviour when they are signing on and losing their homes #BAbetrayal#ShameOnBA
Yesterday in Tarporley the message was loud and Clear for MP @edwardtimpson back the BA workers in your Constituency and “Support and sign the pledge today” https://t.co/EmuzOq1opq
It's happening.
British Airways asked for it. So, now they're going to get it. Today, ground service & cargo workers voted unanimously to ballot for strike action. BA were warned. We won't allow you to fire & rehire our workers on poorer terms. Workers didn't cause the pandemic
Me too @MrAndy_Carter , we are about to lose our house because of this, wont you stand by us and sign the leverage pledge to Hand Back the Slots? Its a Leverage Campaign to protect your constituents jobs..@BASSA_2000@MFUnite@IainDale#Handbacktheslots
.@RishiSunak, Conservative MP for Richmond and Chancellor of the Exchequer has yet to speak out on behalf of BA workers in his constituent. Today campaigners and workers paid a visit to his office and delivered a letter, urging him to "sign, sign, sign."
#TakeBacktheSlots
@MrAndy_Carter Please would you join the huge number of MP’s and sign the pledge to take back BA’s slots unless they stop their attack on their own workers. I am one of those loyal staff affected and would really appreciate your support. Thank you. https://t.co/pf6T28di5N
This is why I fly @british_airways - after great service flying home from Nice to avoid quarantine, the delightful cabin crew gave me this card to celebrate 20yrs in the Exec Club. Nice touch. BA’s staff are fantastic - their management need to stop treating them like dirt.
So in 2008, @British_Airways increased their profits by 45% to £883 million, yet their rationale for cutting their workers' Ts & Cs & reducing the number of crew on the aircraft & creating @MFUnite crew on significantly diminished pay, terms & conditions was...
BA's #fireandrehire must have serious consequences. They have been labelled a #NationalDisgrace Already over 170 cross-party MPs have signed the pledge to redistribute BA's landing slots & more will sign. We will do all in our power to push @British_Airways back. Sharon Graham
