For a regular stop sign (left pic) you stop, look both ways & yield to traffic that has the right of way. Proceed when safe. For a school bus, as long as the stop sign and red lights are flashing, you stay stopped. Do NOT pass the bus just because you don’t see any children.

The Iowa State Fair starts tomorrow! Traffic may be heavy at times. Set your GPS before you leave, be patient, buckle up, don’t drive distracted, and watch for pedestrians. Drive Safe Iowa!

Want to eliminate blind spots when driving? Lean to the left, adjust the outside mirror so you can see the back edge of the car. For the right mirror lean to the right & do the same. Also, cars behind you won’t blind you with their headlights in the side mirrors. Drive Safe Iowa!
