TO ALL PERSONNEL IN THE UK ARMED FORCES, VETERANS COMMUNITY AND FAMILIES
As Principal of J4T, pse note that for personal reasons, and with regret, I must collapse J4T wie.
The safe space for an unsafe conversation is with the IDA as your 'go2' for higher level concerns only

@SWVETERANBLOKE My peace of mind was reckoned when I first met you....thank you Jeff and especially for seeing out Spitfire Barry in fine style such that he knew in his final moments that he was cared for

Martin Luther King reminded us that โthe arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.โ
Change takes a long time, but it does happen. Push!
Enjoy MLK Day on Monday
house signing out, and stepping up
Sorry - press announcement in due course
Take care out there. Keep working with the Defence Select Committee please in all matters of concern in our armed forces, in conjunction with the IDA.

@dedubius We've response from the SofS for Defence and fellow Ministers - each elected by 'the people', dismissing the Inquiry and the recommendations
The conclusion is reasonable as each is 'elected'
Perhaps 'the people' could inform their MP as to their views... views we would support
We can reasonably conclude that the safeguarding needs of women in the UK armed forces doesn't matter to the UK government and by inference their need doesn't matter to the people of the UK....
...the Inquiry, evidenced by thousands, invited response 25 July....
@TroopsJustice4 I agree the appeal process should be seeing a fraction of the numbers it is. @VeteransUK_MOD seem to have gone AWOL lately and the groundswell of veterans with complaints against them seems to be growing. We need to unite and go above the system blockers and highlight this?

@MarkHar98405474 an omni-shambles actually Mark
Word of the year circa 2016 I think? Sums up how Defence 'values' people today as we will see in the Government response to the Women in Defence Inquiry this month - an omni-shambles!
It would be fair to conclude that the whole MoD/DBS, OfVA/Vets UK and MoJ machine has drifted miles from the intent of Boyce, abandoning thousands who serve(d) our country
We are all over it - patience and (humour) will get us there along with anger channeled in the right way
@charles7stuart@TroopsJustice4@IDA_UKDefence @gmac1474 The time when everything was affected by the Lord Boyce review also needs to be looked into. Descriptors changing so that payments from previous schemes were not uplifted to the appropriate descriptor when advised that they would be.
@MarkHar98405474 Yep - but by the time one gets to the appeal process, the individual we claim to support, has never been supported at all - the damage is done
We need to go upstream of the problem and hit the Defence Board hard with the facts and solution ( those of lived experiences have it)
