Just because the start of a season is "Quiet" does not mean that the season is a "Bust", Seasons like 2010, 2011 had *0* ACE by this point and still went on to produce deadly storms that churned up 120+ ACE each, Dont let your guard down just because the start seems slow.

Typhoon #Sinlaku has undergone an impressive feat of intensification today, and has likely reached Category-5 equivalent status with a deep convection CDO wrapping a warming eye. Very impressive to look at.

Evening run of the N3K shows a fun picture for a large chunk of SW #Ontario and portions of the #GTA , FRAM is significantly lower for the #GTA but I wouldn't rule on Freezing Rain totals being that low if it sets up as the NAM modelled and a spread of 5-10mm+ of ice for #Halton+

With #Milton, #Guelph and surrounding areas to see T-3cm of snow with a decent chunk of icing/risk of ice pellets, the morning commute will not be fun and prepare for delays. Will have a better forecast out later tonight.

Wintery Mess expected to start late tonight and hit tomorrow. Thoughts right now are for #Toronto and the city core to see 3-8cm of snow and have Ice Pellets mix in, with lakeshore communities like #Burlington and #Oakville having more of a rain precip, 1/2

Lots of snow fell in #Milton - making it almost completely up first floor balconies on an apartment complex. One of the wildest snows I’ve seen, on a roughly 65-75cm stock it made it nearly 7/8ths of a way up —> unofficially call it 40-50cm+

Snowfall has begun in #Milton

Not even the thick of it and alrwsy seeing a pretty solid rate out there with visibility being reduced, roads are quickly becoming snow covered. Stay home today if you can!
