This senior spotlight is for Rowan Kelpin! He was in theater during all of his time at the high school and was in the SHS Players. You may have seen him as Curly in Oklahoma!, Wadsworth in Clue: On Stage, Sebastian in the Little Mermaid, and many more. We’ll miss you, Rowan.

This spotlight goes to Martina Royer! She has been in theater all four years and was VP of ITS this year. You may have seen her as Chief of Police in Clue: On Stage, the Cook in Alice in Wonderland, ensemble for Little Mermaid and Oklahoma!, and more. We will miss you, Martina.

This senior spotlight goes to Lauren Wilson! She joined theater this year, and has been an integral part of it. You may have seen her as the Motorist in Clue: On Stage, Aunt Eller in Oklahoma!, or at any of the SHS Players shows throughout the year. We’ll miss you, Lauren.

First senior spotlight goes to Alea Brian! Alea has been in theater all four years of high school, and was in the SHS Players. She’s been Mrs. Peacock from Clue, Ado Annie from Oklahoma!, and many more. Alea was our Madam President of ITS this year, and reached 200 ITS points!

Today our officers went to Theatre advocacy day at the capital. We talked with Rep. Patton and Sen. O’Shea about the importance of Theatre. It was good to celebrate Theatre with all our Thespian friends from across the state.

Tonight Alea, Anna and Rowen got selected to be apart of the Thespy showcase. They performed their group acting scene from "Buried Child". Out of 420 Thespy performances only 12 get to be performed. Alea, Anna and Rowan were among the top 12 out of the state.

This is our Tech Olympics team. They did events that included tying knots, Costume changes, threading a sewing machine, set moving, and focusing lights. This is the first year we did this event. Our team did a great job.
