This is what I did in the end.

PS Plus Premium users:
If PS3 game streaming on PS5 isn't working (like the current widespread bug where nothing launches), you can get a full refund even if your sub has been active for months/weeks.

What worked for me (and got me a complete refund quickly):

Go to the PlayStation website (https://t.co/JoxJ5CfDH4) and sign in to your account.

Find the Live Chat support (usually bottom-right, starts automated).

Type something like: "I want a refund for my PS Plus Premium subscription because PS3 streaming isn't working as advertised."

When the bot asks if the issue was resolved or if you got your refund, select No.

It'll forward you to a real agent.
Explain the streaming feature (a key Premium perk) is broken/not functioning → request a full refund.

They approved my full refund regardless of time left on the sub. You can always resub later once it's fixed and still have the full year value from the refunded money.

This is especially relevant right now with the ongoing PS3 cloud streaming outage (no error, just nothing happens for many titles). YMMV, but worth doing if you're frustrated!

If everyone does this it will grab their attention and fix it much faster
