Do you know how many days have passed since the war on Gaza began?
This morning marks 1,000 days since the war started.
You may say, "My God, how quickly time has passed. It feels as though the war only began yesterday."
But here in Gaza, we do not feel what you feel, nor do we say what you say.
These 1,000 days have passed under the weight of tears, hunger, pain, loss, and endless suffering. By God, they have felt more like 1,000 years than 1,000 days.
My dear Muslim brother, after all this time, do you still carry Gaza in your heart? Do you still follow its news and pray for its people? Or have the long days made you grow weary, causing you to forget?
Blessed is the one who keeps Gaza in their heart who does not abandon it even if the whole world does, and who remains steadfast in remembering its people even when others turn away.

I know no one will care, but I've lost hope in the world. Despite what I've explained to you about the situation in Gaza, there's no one to care. When we die, remember that I was sharing my suffering and no one cared.

The people of Gaza are not sacrifices to be offered for anyone, nor are they numbers to be added to the evening news. They are human beings with dreams, memories, and homes. They love life just as every other person on this earth does.
All they want is for this long nightmare to end, to fold away the last tent of their painful displacement, and to return to their shattered homes to rebuild them, stone by stone, bringing life back to a city devastated by destruction and abandoned by the world.
Has this simple dream truly become too great for the world to see, or too small to deserve compassion?
Many people here in Gaza ask me, "Who are you writing for? No one feels our pain, and no one truly sees us. We were just a passing trend, and when the spotlight faded, we were left alone without homes, without tents. Our children are dying from the unbearable heat, yet no one asks about us, and hardly anyone even writes about us."
I tell them: I write so that no one can one day claim they did not know. I write because this is a responsibility, and because our voice must reach the world, even if the world chooses to close its ears and refuse to listen.
I know no one will care, but I've lost hope in the world. Despite what I've explained to you about the situation in Gaza, there's no one to care. When we die, remember that I was sharing my suffering and no one cared.

Is paying attention to celebrities more important than students' dreams?
Bashar , a university student, launched this campaign to support his family and pay his university fees. he hasn't received his goal yet; at least his voice could have been heard.

🚨HEARTBREAKING: Through tears and disbelief, a friend mourns 17 year old Raghad Ashour, who was killed in an Israeli strike on Al-Rimal Market in Gaza City.
Raghad had not even finished her high school exams. She was still studying, still making plans, still looking ahead to a future she would never get to live.
Her friend keeps asking the same question: What did Raghad do to deserve this? There is no answer.
