Full solidarity with Cuba, one of the last genuinely sovereign countries left in the world, as they resist the genocidal, child-raping empire that seeks to crush all independent nations under its boot.
A Bolivian worker on strike. His own son, standing across from him in a police uniform, ready to repress him. Not because the son is evil. Because the system trains the oppressed to become the oppressors of their own people.
This is not a Bolivian problem. This is a Global South problem.
Western backed coups. IMF austerity. Corrupt local elites. And when the people finally say "enough," the state sends their own children to beat them back into line.
The same thing happens in Africa. The same thing happens in Asia. The same thing happens everywhere the empire has planted its flag.
True sovereignty is not just having a flag and a seat at the UN. It is having an economy that serves the many, not the few. It is having security forces that protect the people, not the politicians. It is having a future where a father and son do not end up on opposite sides of a barricade.
Until then, we are all just colonies wearing different uniforms.
The children are always ours, every single one of them, all over the globe; and I am beginning to suspect that whoever is incapable of recognizing this may be incapable of morality.
James Baldwin
"The only way we'll get freedom for ourselves is to identify ourselves with every oppressed people in the world. We are blood brothers to the people of Brazil, Venezuela, Haiti, Cuba—yes Cuba too." - Malcolm X
US-led imperialism unites the global majority as its common oppressor. It’s time we get serious, serious about solidarity, serious about justice.
As indigenous peoples in Bolivia defend themselves against neoliberal imposition by foreign backed political +economic elite — they deploy state forces ready to use bullets against them.
That the capitalist, neocolonial state so readily resorts to murder, is why no one should
ever advocate for the disarmament of the oppressed. And why armament remains a right of all those fighting oppression.
intl “condemnations” muddying these facts — a Palestinians, Iranians, Cubans, Bolivians, etc defending self-determination + sovereignty — are not to be trusted
"115 of those killed have been medical professionals. Israel systematically targets paramedics."
Israel got away with targeting and killing healthcare workers in Gaza. And now they are doing exactly the same in Lebanon.
The result of decades of impunity.
The Bolivian people—an example to lead—continue protesting, demanding the resignation of Rodrigo Paz.
They also demand that transnational corporations withdraw from Bolivia, urging they won’t allow the privatization of the country’s natural resources.
Fidel Castro explains why the US despises Cuba and is desperate to destroy it: "Our country does not drop bombs on other people, nor does it send thousands of planes to bomb cities. Instead our country sends doctors to those most lost corners of the world."
Nakbah: 78 Years of Resistance & Resilience!
From usurpation, colonisation, apartheid, and now genocide, Palestinians have not only survived but have continued to show courage, resilience, steadfastness, and forbearance.
The denial of their right to self-determination and recognition has persisted for decades, to the extent that animal rights are sometimes more respected and recognised than the rights of Palestinians.
The brutal and inhuman treatment of the inhabitants of Gaza and the West Bank knows no bounds, not to mention those held in the custody and captivity of the Zionist adversaries.
They were sodomized, raped, and had their organs harvested by those who still invoke the Holocaust for public sympathy, yet now unleash upon Palestinians what is even worse than a holocaust.
Yes, Gaza was destroyed. Palestinians were martyred, many were maimed, and generations were crushed, shattered, and annihilated for 78 years. Yes, the killing continues.... What next again for someone who has conquered death, someone who prefers martyrdom to a life of humiliation and subjugation?
Palestinians refuse to surrender and, yet, till today, remain firm upon their soil. This is not merely a signal, but an inspiration, not only for us, but for generations yet unborn.
Ask the Zionists: In human history, has there been a resistance this long sustained? Imagine, from throwing stones to uprisings, from Sinwar to Abu Ubaydah, from Rafah to the Strait of Hormuz, and from asserting force to negotiations.
If you can see what I have perceived, victory is near, beckoning. My resounding salutations to the great souls and steadfast heroes of Palestine!
The escalated war in Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, and Iran was initially resisted, confronted, and contained by Gazans alone. What a great resistance! I doff my hat to these lofty souls of resilience as victory beckons.
Resisting a nuclear power, one unapologetically supported by the US, is beyond courage and confidence; it appears to be more spiritual than material. Victory awaits at the end of the tunnel.
And remember: their appointed time is Subhi. Is Subhi not close?!!
