This is the price today for a half package of ground beef, about enough to make two small burgers. The KD was 4.50 a box in the summertime. It was 3.25 today. So double the half package price then add 4.50 and it’s pretty close to 25$. The beef is a bit cheaper now than it was last week. But it’s still too much.

It’s not much cheaper in Canmore, the prices change drastically all the time. My license is restricted due to my vision. I am not able to drive at night, makes it hard in the winter to travel for groceries. More than half my money goes to rent, as a single dad it’s very difficult to stay afloat.

It’s not much lower one town over, I’d have to drive an hour and a half to Calgary to see any real savings, I work 6 days a week at my first job and 3 nights at my 2nd and still have to take care of my child on my own. It’s hard to find time to travel to buy groceries. I do when I can.
