@TVForSeniors@ClarkTowns38704@GrantPaulsen "He's hitting .244" π€£
I mean, that's basically MLB avg nowadays anyway, so not the indictment you seem to think it is. Regardless, anyone arguing BA in 2026 is WAY behind the times. His OPS is well above avg, and that's a much better indicator of his overall offensive impact πββοΈ
@sarcastic_deer@realesteastwood@kurt13warner The man is simply doing his job β analyzing football. Didn't realize every single American was required to immediately stop doing their job indefinitely and post prayers for Kirk's family. Is it a horrendous, despicable tragedy? Absolutely. But what you're suggesting is absurd...
@TheWizNatic Slow your roll a little bit, my guy. It was one start. Yes, it was an excellent one. But let's see if he can maintain this high level with any consistency before we start throwing around words like "superstar"...
@iownthelibs @OU_RecruitingHQ Umm... pretty sure that rule only applies to actual NCAA-regulated pool games. Not betting your buddy $20 in a friendly game at the bar...
That said... I would guess that your first suggestion of what he was doing is prob the *actual* thing tbh πββοΈ
@themelodicrage @CJ20265200 @RobDziobon @letterfoxd@benkingfm Every week countless people are convicted "beyond a reasonable doubt" on wayyy less. A jury will easily decide beyond a reasonable doubt that he's guilty. I'd be shocked if deliberations last longer than a few hours.
@Renamed_Vivid@RoyDelfino@ckayerawlings True, but the key phrase there is "if they want to." And I doubt they would tbh. Unless it's a large PD with lots of resources, it's prob unlikely they even have the right technical staff to properly determine probable cause β which they would need prior to making any arrest.
@funnydanny 100% agree golf has an air of smugness to it. That said, Great Britain and the UK are not synonymous, as you suggested. GB doesn't include Northern Ireland β where the Open Championship is actually being played this yr. IOW, it's literally not being played in Britain.
@Renamed_Vivid@RoyDelfino@ckayerawlings Yep. Exactly this. And it's DEF criminal fraud (not "could be"). But... frankly, the odds seem fairly low of: 1) LE becoming aware/interested to the point of committing resources to opening an investigation; and 2) a prosecutor deciding it's actually worth pursuing an indictment
@RWeiford@RoyDelfino@ckayerawlings Umm nope, just fraud and only fraud. It's actually entirely unrelated in any way, shape, or form to extortion or a Ponzi scheme. Lol
@MiamiMoleMan@malcolmkenyatta@davidhogg111 Incorrect. Both aren't being kicked out. One is guaranteed to retain his position, as the bylaws require at least 1 male Vice Chair and he and Hogg are the only 2 on the ballot. You should try actually reading the official challenge and supporting docs π

@RealPhilycheese@raduray@malcolmkenyatta@davidhogg111 Bad look for sure, but the right call. If you read thru the official challenge and DNC docs it's clear they bungled it. Seems they were trying to save face tbh. But now that they want Hogg gone it's an easy way to oust him. Malcolm will keep his spot tho
https://t.co/ylhoQjDJlI
@raduray@malcolmkenyatta@davidhogg111 I'd recommend reading thru the official docs (linked below), but essentially the combining of the 2 ballots into 1 meant that both Malcolm and Hogg were given 2x more available vote share than the remaining women competing for the "any gender" spot
https://t.co/ylhoQjDJlI
@raduray@malcolmkenyatta@davidhogg111 Too complex to explain fully, but the bylaws require "gender equity" for the 3 VC spots: 1 male, 1 female, 1 "any gender." It was supposed to be 3 separate ballots but they were tired after 12+ hrs, so they combined the male ballot w/ the "any gender" ballot. Original DNC docs π
@420_hex@rdwarrior6691@2RawTooReal If you read the original docs it's clear the female candidates filed the challenge well before all the recent controversy w/ Hogg. It's also clear the DNC totally DID bungle the election. That said β yes it def gives them a very convenient way to oust him

@BartWinklerShow Love the show but laughing at the irony of you getting on a caller for assuming you live in one city (GB) when you actually live in another (Milwaukee) and 10 secs later you claim the Canes play in one city (Charlotte) when they actually play in another (Raleigh)
@RightAngle2335 And yes obv betting LA's TT O6.5 w/ the score 3-1 after 2 prds isn't +EV. On that we agree. I just misunderstood you initially. Thought maybe you bet their TT when it was 6-2 w/ 10 mins left, which would've been +EV if EDM scored 1 more cuz they'd have prob pulled their goalie...
@RightAngle2335 Huh? It 100% matters when you placed it. Pre-game projections aren't just thrown out the window as soon as the puck drops. The live total is still based on the closing line β just with less weight as the game progresses and goals are scored. Do you have zero understanding of P&S?
@RightAngle2335 Is that a serious question? As I said in my other post I didn't know when u placed the bet. So if it was end of 1st prd and game was 1-0, the live total would be different depending on if it closed at, say, 5.5 juiced to under, or 6.5 juiced to over. Welcome to Statistics 101 π
