अभी एक वीडियो देखा गुजरात की एक वामपंथी महिला इतिहास की शिक्षक भावनगर के प्रतापी महाराज कृष्ण कुमार सिंह जी के बारे में ऊलजुल बोल रही है बकवास कर रही है

उस मूर्ख महिला को पता होना चाहिए कृष्ण कुमार सिंह जी पूरे भारत के पहले ऐसे राजा थे वह भी अभिभाजित भारत के जिन्होंने सबसे पहले अपनी रियासत यानी भावनगर रियासत सरदार पटेल जी के सामने भारत गणराज्य में मिलने का सामने से पेशकश किया था और अपनी भावनगर रियासत भारत के गणराज्य में देने का ऐलान किया था

भावनगर के महाराजा कृष्ण कुमार सिंह जी के दादाजी महाराज तख्त सिंह जी ने 1880 में अपने दीवान की स्मृति में शामलदास कॉलेज की स्थापना किया था जो भारत का सबसे पुराने कॉलेज में से एक माना जाता है

इसके अलावा महाराजा कृष्ण कुमार सिंह जी ने 1932 में तख्त सिंह जी पॉलिटेक्निक इंस्टिट्यूट बनाया था

इसके अलावा भावनगर के महाराजा ने अपने समय में 1925 में एशिया का सबसे बड़ा महाराजा तख्त सिंह जी जनरल हॉस्पिटल बनवाया था जिसके कैंपस में ही बाद में भावनगर गवर्नमेंट मेडिकल कॉलेज भी बना

इतना ही नहीं ब्राज़ील तक में महाराजा कृष्ण कुमार सिंह जी की इज्जत और पूजा होती है

ब्राज़ील जो पूरी तरह से बर्बाद हो रहा था तब महाराजा कृष्ण कुमार सिंह जी ने ब्राजील की आबोहवा का अध्ययन करके गिर नस्ल की कई गाय ब्राजील में भेजी थी और आज उन्ही गिर नस्ल की गायों से ब्राजील की अर्थव्यवस्था इतनी आगे हुई है
