🚨 MOTHER ACCUSED OF FILMING HERSELF ABUSING TODDLER TO SEND VIDEOS TO THE CHILD’S FATHER 🚨

A Minnesota couple is facing serious felony charges after prosecutors say their 2-year-old son endured months of repeated abuse inside their home.

According to investigators, the case came to light after a concerned person contacted police and shared photos showing the toddler covered in bruises. When officers arrived, they reportedly found the child with stitches on his forehead and injuries across much of his body. Doctors later concluded the injuries were consistent with physical abuse.

As investigators examined the parents’ phones, prosecutors say they uncovered a disturbing trail of evidence, including thousands of messages and numerous photos and videos.

Authorities allege that 27-year-old Karina Maria Burns would become angry whenever the child’s father, Colt Jonathan McNeese, failed to respond to her calls or text messages while he was at work. Prosecutors say she then assaulted the toddler and recorded videos or took photos of the child crying before sending them to McNeese.

Investigators identified at least 80 separate dates between 2024 and June 2026 in which Burns allegedly admitted in text messages to physically harming the child.

The child’s father has also been charged, with prosecutors alleging he failed to protect his son despite being aware of the abuse.

Thankfully, the toddler was removed from the home after the report to police. Prosecutors credited the individual who came forward, saying their decision to speak up may have saved the child’s life.

Burns remains jailed on a $500,000 bond, while McNeese is being held on a $140,000 bond.

🚨 PREGNANT BEHIND BARS: NEW TWIST EMERGES IN THE ELIZABETH SIDERS CASE 🚨

Just when it seemed this case couldn’t become any more shocking, another unexpected development has surfaced.

Elizabeth Siders, the Ohio mother currently jailed after authorities removed 16 children from her home, is reportedly pregnant.

According to reports, this would be at least her 15th pregnancy. Court records and public information indicate the children were born between 2008 and 2025, with some pregnancies resulting in twins. It has also been reported that Elizabeth gave birth to conjoined twins who tragically died in 2022.

The latest reports indicate she is expecting a single baby.

The pregnancy comes as her attorney seeks to have her $300,000 cash or surety bond modified to a recognizance bond, which would allow her release without posting the full amount. It remains to be seen whether the court will consider her pregnancy or prenatal medical needs when deciding that request.

Elizabeth, her husband Gary Siders Jr., and his parents have all pleaded not guilty to child endangerment charges. The criminal case remains ongoing, and authorities have not publicly reached conclusions regarding the dynamics within the household or whether Elizabeth may also have experienced abuse.

At the center of this case are 16 children who have already been removed from the home—and now, according to reports, another child is expected to be born into the middle of an active criminal investigation.

A Florida woman is facing serious criminal charges after investigators say she left her 13-year-old daughter—who has special needs—chained to a fence outside a relative’s home because she felt overwhelmed and “needed a break.”

According to authorities, 34-year-old Yashira Marie Maldonado allegedly wrapped a chain around the girl’s waist, secured it to a fence at the child’s great-grandmother’s home, and drove away Saturday morning. Investigators say a neighbor’s Ring doorbell camera captured the incident.

Police allege the girl was left outside with no food, no water, and no protection from the Florida heat. She reportedly had only a clear backpack, the clothes she was wearing, and her medication.

The child’s great-grandmother told investigators she had received a text message from Maldonado earlier that morning saying she had just lost her job.

When questioned by police, Maldonado reportedly admitted she went home, silenced her phone, got into bed, and watched television. She acknowledged that what she did was wrong but said she was overwhelmed by the responsibilities of caring for her daughter.

She has since been arrested and is facing charges related to child abuse and child neglect.

Cases involving caregiver stress can be incredibly complex, but investigators allege this situation crossed the line into criminal conduct.

One of the biggest questions heading into the Lindsay Clancy trial has now been answered.

During the final pretrial conference, the judge ruled that the defense cannot call women who have personally experienced postpartum psychosis to testify. Prosecutors argued that allowing unrelated individuals to share their own experiences would shift the focus away from the evidence in Clancy’s case and create what the court described as a “trial within a trial.”
