Monica Wala relied on convicted suicide companion inmates and SHU guards to shape her clinical notes and opinions about Rick’s mental state, repeatedly interpreting his severe deterioration as “feigning” and manipulation.

Her inability to clearly distinguish her own clinical interpretation from the logs is deeply troubling, as once secondhand accounts enter her clinical notes, they acquire the appearance of clinical authority. When those notes are then used to dismiss Rick's severe and legitimate psychiatric deterioration and are used to lend credibility to his alleged "confessions", the consequences are enormous.

Rick Allen suffered immeasurable, irreversible harm while unlawfully detained at Westville. Monica Wala was a proximate cause of that suffering.

Just finished watching the oral argument in Richard Allen’s appeal in the Delphi murders case. His attorney did a great job. Every time I’m reminded of the judge’s absolutely horrific, error filled rulings, it makes my blood boil. Innocent or guilty, what happened to him should never ever happen in this great country.

They put a man with an already fragile mind into solitary confinement, in a supermax prison within a supermax prison.
Policy says 30 days max. He was in 'the hole' for 13 months.

It took the state 5 months to break him. Pumped to the brim with Soviet Unions favorite mind altering drug, Haldol.

He confesses to starting WW3.
He confessed to murdering his grandkids (he doesn't have any)
He confessed to cheating on his wife with a matchstick.
He confessed to being God.
And finally, he confessed to killing the girls, but he got it wrong the first times.
Saying he shot them in the back.

But eventually he confessed "correctly".

If you approve of this being done to one.
