Our Great Hall has had a temporary change of decor, with objects moved from the Dining Room so that the room and objects can be deep cleaned. The copper samovar with stag-head decoration was made in Hull in 1840 - an ornate Victorian tea urn!

#FunFact In France these clouds are called a ciel moutonné (fleecy sky) and in Italy it's described as a pecorelle (like little sheep) - fitting, when East Park is today full of real live fleecy sheep!
