Education begins the gentleman, but reading, good company and reflection must finish him

I can not offer it freely. Undoubtedly there is amusement to be had here. I eagerly await his next move.

Bothersome ordinarily although with Tarquin now wed, a spot is feasible.

For some 9 years Mr Green has, at this time, made a veiled attempt to secure a place among my shooting party.

[True English Gent @TrueEnglishGent]

He claimed it a 'happy accident' while out seeking a lost dog yet the man's intention was perfectly clear.

Glorious day today. My old friend, neighbour and occasional drinking companion Mr Green happened upon me at the stables this morning.

HRH Queen Elizabeth II 'nulli secunda'

[True English Gent @TrueEnglishGent]

Indeed, every day is a school day, although I assure you that today, the only lesson of any value I learnt was to always dine at home

[True English Gent @TrueEnglishGent]

My steward assured me it was a cheese like substance which was entirely edible and is somehow also available in triangular form.

'tis past two in the afternoon, the fire is lit & am only just thawed from this morning's jaunt into town

[True English Gent @TrueEnglishGent]

Fear not, I can handle some healthy competition. In fact the prospect of a little battle of egos is highly amusing to me. Most diverting!

[True English Gent @TrueEnglishGent]

I should not have been surprised to find Tarquin there, looking decidedly dapper and most pleased with himself.

[True English Gent @TrueEnglishGent]

I stopped by the hunting lodge earlier today in the hope of getting a closer look at those lovely ladies.

[True English Gent @TrueEnglishGent]

I am quite undone. What sort of a man travels with two harmonicas?!

[True English Gent @TrueEnglishGent]

'tis unfortunate that one can not disburden oneself of the Major in the same manner

[True English Gent @TrueEnglishGent]

Reginald delivered it to the depths of the lower lake under cover of darkness.

[True English Gent @TrueEnglishGent]

Happily I chanced upon that ghastly harmonica in the billiard room this afternoon. Rest assured it has been quite muted.
